After my forced migration to Berlin, as the founder of Amira Pictures and a creative entrepreneur with over two decades of experience, I spent a full year conducting field research and speaking with the community I am now a part of: the community of immigrant artists. I met geniuses—directors, writers, and designers who were stars in their home countries but had fallen into silence and isolation here, in the creative capital of Europe.

A high wall of bureaucracy, tax laws, language barriers, and, most importantly, the absence of a supportive professional network was pushing these talents toward despair.
