This section carries BIPA's signature distinction: the Elemental Excellence Award, honoring an outstanding individual component within any submitted work — a performance, a score, a single shot — independent of how the work performs as a whole. It's awarded through BIPA's Solo Judging approach, which examines every submission independently against its own components, in addition to standard competitive judging.
